Interns must be available to work in our NEW YORK CITY  studios, 2 days per week starting at 5 AM until approximately 2 PM. You must be in to pop culture and be fun and VERY outgoing. No, really. Ask someone if you are fun. If they say no, then trust them.

You can’t get rid of me! I was lucky enough to get to stay for another semester with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and it has been a blast. What are some of the differences the second time around? First, that copy machine does not stand a chance. I’m pretty sure I could get it to do my homework for me at this point. Second, the breakfast deliveryman and I are best friends. Third, I have gotten to meet some lovely new ladies (I’m talking to you, Nicole and Emily!). Finally, my comfort in the studio and with the people on the show has allowed me to ask more questions and do some more intensive things, like answer phones without Carla Marie sitting next to me (thanks for not being too mean, callers J).

The question I always get from my friends and family is “what celebrities have you met!?” and so far, this semester has brought some winners! I was here for the Steven Ward interview, which was interesting to see from behind the scenes. The most impressive of ANYONE in the past few months was Mr.Moviefone. If you ever run in to Carla Marie and have nothing to say, ask her to reenact my reaction to being told Mr.Moviefone was in the lobby. I grew up calling Mr.Moviefone, and I’m an avid fan of I Love the 90’s, so I was pretty star struck when I got to meet him. We totally had a mini conver-tweet (conversation via twitter, feel free to spread). See below:

Celebrities aside, every day is exciting. Waking up during the school year has proved to be a challenge, but once I’m at the studio, there is no place else I would rather be. There are so many things coming up and I’m excited to be along for the ride!
